Assurance is present in all areas of food and feed production from the plough to the plate. Red Tractor manages primary production on farms and then the product can be hauled or stored by TASCC approved firms. TASCC also covers the testing and merchanting of the grain. Once the product is milled any products coming off that process such as wheat-feed need to be FEMAS assured to go into animal feed and if it is used in compound blends or mixed feeds, the mixer must be UFAS assured. Finally, a farm feeding the feed to their animals must be Red Tractor assured if their produce is to be certified. Pauline and Robert can help with the paperwork for all aspects of certification and have experience in auditing each one of these standards.
